Special Orders

SPECIAL ORDERS (Excludes saddles. See below.)

At Tri-County Feeds, Etc., we're trying our best to ensure that we stock a wide range of inventory, and a great selection to offer. However, we might not have an item that you have been searching for. If this is the case, TCFE is more than happy to talk to our distributors to see if we can order it for you. 

We'll need the following information:

  • NAME
  • PHONE NUMBER
  • DATE

As well as your personal information, we'll of course need information on your special order. Our staff will be happy to work with you to establish if we can order your item, but please have as much of the following information available as possible.

  • BRAND (Ariat, Farnam, etc.)
  • ITEM NAME
  • SIZE / COLOR
  • ITEM NUMBER OR UPC

If the item is valued at $150 or more, we'll need a credit card number to hold as a deposit (we accept all major credit cards). There is a minimum of 2 weeks lead time on most special orders, however, this is subject to change due to availability, and that many distributors require a minimum order.

Once your item has arrived, our sales staff will call to inform you. We will hold the item for three weeks, and remind you each week we have the item. If at the end of three weeks, we have not got in contact with you or no plans have been arranged, we will charge a 10% restocking fee. As we mentioned, TCFE strives to stock a wide selection of goods. If you are placing a special order, there's a good chance your item is very specific and we will not be able to sell it as regular inventory or send back to the distributor, hence the restocking fee. Freight charges may apply, and all prices are subject to change. 

 

SADDLE TRIAL OR SPECIAL ORDERS

Tri-County Feeds, Etc. strives to have a great selection of saddles and tack for you to choose from. We offer brands like Bevel, Jeffries, Marcel Toulouse, Masta, Stubben, Vega, and Weaver.

If we don't have the size you're looking for, we can special order you the correct size (in fact, TCFE may be able to send someone to your location to personally fit your horse for a saddle! Please call the store at 540-364-1891 for details). All of the above criteria is necessary to place your special order. Saddle wait time is generally 3 (or more) weeks.

Once your saddle arrives, you can take it for a 3 day trial. As with most special orders, you will need to provide a credit card as deposit. This saddle must be returned in PRISTINE condition within the 3 days, or your card will be charged. It is adviseable to wrap the billet straps and leathers, and use a clean pad during your trial.
